CTTC is a non-profit research institution based in Castelldefels (Barcelona), resulting from a public initiative of the Regional Government of Catalonia (Generalitat de Catalunya).

CTTC’s ultimate mission is to be an Excellence flagship Center that serves as a bridge between academia and industry.

Our technology development and transfer program is formed by nine research units, covering all the different aspects of terrestrial and satellite communications, from the physical access to networking layers. CTTC is working on satellite communications for 15 years.

What is your organization’s role in the project? What unique contribution does it bring to the team?

CTTC will bring its experience to contribute to the design of the unified air interface, the beamforming techniques suitable for NTN and the AI-based solutions for NTN management and develop the modifications in the UE.

Why is this project important for your organization?

The activities in the project will mainly contribute to transfer technology and knowledge to companies and to reinforce the position and awareness of CTTC inside the research community.
